Losing your phone can be a stressful, frustrating, and costly experience. Samsung Find My Mobile service helps you locate your lost device and secure the apps and data stored on it. To use Find My Mobile, the service first must have been activated on your device. As soon as you get a new Samsung mobile device, we recommend you follow these steps. To set up Find My Mobile in the Settings menu, scroll down and tap Biometrics and Security now Select Find My Mobile.

 Now, if your device is lost, here's how to use the Samsung Find My Mobile service to locate it on your PC, tablet, or any other device, open a browser and go to FindMyMobile Samsung.com now sign in to your Samsung account. Findmymobile will attempt to locate your registered device. If your device's location is found, it will be shown on the map. 

You'll also see the device's current status, including network connectivity and battery life. Below this, you'll see a number of options to help you retrieve and secure your device. If your device is nearby, you can have it ring at maximum volume for 1 minute to help locate it.  If it is unlocked, you can immediately lock it. You can also prevent others from powering off your device to ensure it can still be located, and you can have a message appear on the screen with a contact number. If you think your device might be on the move, Select Track Location. You'll get an update on its location every 15 minutes. 

 If you are concerned that you will not be able to retrieve your device, you can also erase data or backup data from the device. Please be aware that if you select erase data, anything that is not backed up will be lost. Your Samsung account will also be removed from the device and you will not be able to locate it. You can also extend the remaining battery life of your device by remotely setting it to maximum power-saving mode. 

Lastly, if you have your device but are locked out because you've forgotten your pin or password, you can unlock it.  But what if your device is offline and can't be located are locked, you can set an alert to be notified if and when it does connect to a network. Again.
