 West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee: West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate

West Bengal Minister Patha Chatterjee was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an elite teacher recruitment scam. The arrest comes hours after Rupees 20 Grove was recovered from a close eight after Minister the Chinamore Leader was questioned for 26 hours following the recovery of the cash and Ed officer said that Chatterjee was not cooperative during questioning. 

Chatterjee was the Education Minister when this camp took place. The Enforcement Directorate on July 22 recovered Rupees 20 crowd in cash from the house of Arpita Mukarji, an associate of Pata Chapi. According to the probe agency, the amount is connected to this camp. 

 More than 20 mobile phones were recovered from the premises of Aypita Mukarji. The Ed has also conducted rates on Minister of State for Education Parish Adikari and Mlmunik Batharya in connection with the elite scam. The CBI is also investigating this camp.

While the Ed is looking into the money trail, the CBI is investigating the alleged irregularities in the recruitment of Group C and D staff and teachers in state sponsored and aided schools.
