How do you use tobramycin ophthalmic solution?

2.  Tilt your head back or lie down and look up at the ceiling.

4. Gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.

5. Hold the dropper tip directly over your eye without touching it or any other surface.

6. Squeeze the prescribed number of drops into your eye. Be careful not to blink or squeeze your eye tightly while applying the drops.

7. Release your lower eyelid and keep your eye closed for a minute to allow the medicine to spread evenly.

8. If you need to apply the solution to both eyes, repeat steps 4-7 for the other eye.

9. Wipe away any excess solution around your eye with a clean tissue.

10. Wash your hands again to remove any residual medicine.

11. If you are using other eye drops or ointments, wait at least 5 minutes before applying them to allow the tobramycin ophthalmic solution to fully penetrate the eye.
