 I'm sure you have a friend in your group, and he or she thinks that's really funny. And they're making pranks all the time. I had one such friend in school, and he was online. One day he found this chemical, H Two S. It's a gas, and it has a really, really bad smell. 

Guess what he thought next? Let's make it in our chemistry lab session. Smart guy that he is. He was able to figure out what he needs for this. All he needed was some iron powder, some sulfur powder. 

 All of it was easily available in our lab. He heated them together, he got a black powder, and then he added HBO four into it. Carrie. I know, but he was like, hey, let's do this. It's going to be fun. And the smell was so bad. I still remember it to this day. It was like a sewage pipe broke and it spilled all over. The spell was really bad, and he thought it was really funny. He started laughing. 

He came to us, and after some time, it got really serious. He found that his eyes were really red and they were watering. There was another person who almost fainted. The teachers got what was going on. This is a very, very peculiar smell. 

 It's called a rotten egg smell. They knew what was wrong. And this is a very dangerous chemical. You know what? It numbs down my sense of smell. And there are also fatal and high dosages. So the prank that he thought would be funny was actually a really dangerous one. We had to clear out the lab. School had to be shut down for some time just because this one guy was playing around with chemicals. It's really stupid to do something like this, but we're still going to study this chemical edge for us because of two reasons. 

Well, first, it's like you don't do this in the lab and you don't let any of our friends do something like this in the lab. It's a really dangerous chemical. Yeah. So we need to know how to deal with it safely. Why do we need to deal with it safely? The thing is, it's a very useful chemical, speaking industrially. Yeah. So we'll figure out first how to look at the safety of any chemical. Then we'll talk about some properties. We'll talk about how to make this chemical and also check out its uses.

You have a lot of nice colors, a lot of reactions happening, but you need to know where to draw the line.  The H Two S thing was a really bad idea for a prank because of all the things I told you how dangerous it is. Now, this is a list of all properties of a certain chemical that could help you prepare for it whether it's gas or liquid, or solid.

 This material safety data sheet you can just Google it for any chemical H two s ammonia. You'll see most of the things that I mentioned over here in that it will say that hey this one's flammable this concentration of this can cause death or maybe this causes nausea and well the fact that it's heavier than air. Now, this helps you figure a lot of things out most importantly the safety aspects of it.
