My LIC policy started in 2006 so how many money I received after maturity

In the subsequent slides. The four major heads I'm going to cover is how are you going to get intimated that your LSE policy has matured? That is the first heading. The second heading is what is the list of documents you need to submit? The third heading is processing time.

How will you get intimated that your Llic policy has matured? Usually, LIC will send you a letter either one or two months in advance before your policy is maturing along with the discharge form and Nifty form. They will request you to complete the forms and submit them to your home branch. That is how you will come to know that your policy is matured. The second way is you will have the original bond with you on that bond.

 Also, you will see the date of maturity. The third way is you can see these details in LIC online Customer portal. Let us see what are the list of documents you need to submit? Please note that all these documents need to be self-attested and submitted to the home branch. The first document you need to do is complete and signed discharge form number 3825. You can this form from the LLC website or LLC. The home branch will send you in the mail to you.

 The second thing is the original policy bond you need to submit in the home branch. The third document you need to submit is the completed Neaft form. The fourth document you need to submit is identity proof. It can be either pan or other photocopy self-attested. The fifth one is address proof, another photocopy self-attested cancel check or bank passport copy. If the check is having your name, then canceling the check is sufficient. If the check is not having your name, then you need to submit a bank passport photocopy.

 Let us look at the processing time after you have submitted all these documents to your home branch. How long will it take for the home branch to credit the amount into your bank account? Usually, it will take around 15 to 20 working days after all the required documents are submitted to the home branch.  Let us look at the four major reasons normally why these maturity claims get delayed from LIC. The first one is different in name or spelling on the policy bond and bank account another pan. If there is a difference then your claim will get delayed. You need to either magnify your policy bond or bank account or other or pay. The second reason is not able to submit the required documents within six months after the policy has matured you have approached your home branch but if you are not able to submit the required documents within six months then your claim will get delayed. 

 The third and most important thing is you have misplaced or lost your original policy bond. Then you need to file an affidavit with LIC so the claim will get delayed. The fourth one is after the policy has matured the policyholder has died. In such a case there is a big process. You need to obtain a legal aid certificate and submit it to LIC.  Then the claim will get passed in the Meanwhile and it will get delayed.
