United Nations Secretary Count's Security Council's Counterterrorism Committee are meeting in India for the first time this week

The United Nations Secretary Count's Security Council's Counterterrorism Committee are meeting in India for the first time this week. The ambassadors will begin by visiting a memorial for the victims of the 2000 and 611 Mumbai terror attacks before a session at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai which was one of the locations where that attack hack took place. The CTC meeting will be represented by all 15 members of the UNSC, plus five incoming members. It will be chaired by Richera Cambodia, india's permanent representative to the UN. India's external affairs minister S Jaishankar will also take part in that meeting.

Officials have said that the meeting will focus on the potential use of 3D printing, robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and synthetic biotech by terrorists. The panel will also discuss terror financing through cryptocurrency and the use of drones in New Age terrorism. Jesanga has called on the UNSC to complete what he says is the unfinished task of prosecuting the 2000 and 611 masterminds. India has expressed disappointment over recent refusals by China to globally list four terrorists involved in the Mumbai terror attacks. Over the last few months, China has blocked Indian and U.S.

Attempts to blacklist Laksha Etaiba founder's son Hafiz Talha Saeed China's also blocked the listing of Shahid Mahmoud Abdul Rahimaqi and Sajid Miya.

India hosted the antiterrorism meeting of the United Nations Security Council in India's financial capital city. Mumbai and India chose one of the iconic location, taj Mahal Palace, which was the targeted spot for the 2008 terror attacks that killed more than 30 people. Here and across the city, we saw more than 160 people getting killed by the terrorists. The event started with international participants paying homage to the victims of the 2000 and 611 terror attacks. Later, we also saw numerous survivors coming forward and outlining their experiences. They shared what happened on that fateful day and how they really want strict laws to eliminate terrorism completely. In fact, the deliberations continued.

There were statements by the international participants as well as India that how efforts need to be continued, especially to tackle the menace of terrorism and how newer ways are coming in for terrorist purposes, like combating terror financing, the usage of social media for terrorist purpose is increasing. The usage of drones for terrorist purposes increasing and how everything needs to be tackled consistently. So this was the first round of deliberation and informal meeting that took place in Mumbai.
